British rock group Wunderhorse have been named as the upcoming support act for the just-announced Fontaines D.C. Australia & New Zealand Tour.
Touring their recently-released fourth studio album Romance, Irish icons Fontaines D.C. will be returning down under across February and March of 2025, bringing the phenomenal Wunderhorse along for the ride to play their first ever shows in Australia and Aotearoa.
Following the release of their sophomore album Midas in August of this year, Wunderhorse are currently sitting at over a million monthly listeners on Spotify.
Having previously opened for the likes of Sam Fender, Foals and Pixies, selling out their own headline shows across the UK and Europe, as well as playing an array of renowned festivals such as Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, TRNSMT and more, the band are set to continue their winning streak in Australia with their gritty, heartfelt brand of rock early next year.
Alongside Fontaines, the band will play shows in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland, as well as in Wollongong for Yours & Owls Festival, performing tracks from the recently released Midas album, as well as from their beloved 2022 debut record, Cub.
