Rising indie quintet Krooked Kings have officially dropped their highly anticipated third studio album, 'Shiver'. With this latest release, Krooked Kings once again demonstrate their signature indie-rock prowess, blending infectious melodies with a gritty, grunge-inspired edge while delving into the collective experiences that have defined who they are.
Following the resounding success of their previous studio album, 'All Out Of Good Days’, 'Shiver’ emerges as a natural evolution in the band's musical journey.
“It feels like the older sister of our previous records”
QUINN CASPER - DRUMMER
“Because music is such therapy for me, I just felt like I had more to say”
OLIVER MARTIN - LEAD SINGER
“I want to build a community around Krooked Kings that’s based on an understanding and a love for one another. The music might start from a place of sadness or angst but ultimately, this band is about finding joy wherever you can and realizing you’re never alone.”
OLIVER MARTIN - LEAD SINGER
Created during a period of introspection as the band underwent their departure from the Mormon church, 'Shiver' resonates with authenticity and emotional depth as it draws inspiration from influences like Spacey Jane, Bon Iver, and Lime Cordiale.
The release of ‘Shiver’ comes after the release of three successful singles from the album earlier this year: ‘Catacombs’, ‘On Again, Off Again’ & ‘Headhunters’.
The band have kept busy over the past few years with sold-out tours across North America and Europe and amassing over 80 million streams from fans across the world who have been eagerly awaiting this album.
